Provides support to Adults with Learning Disabilities and other complex needs, within a residential setting. There are currently eight residential units offering supported living and standard registered care. We are looking for staff who have a positive attitude towards adults with learning disabilities and complex needs and a commitment to supporting and caring for service users to enable and encourage their active participation in their life plans and within the local community.

Support Workers post - scale 5, £24,462 - £25,809 pro rota (inclusive of LW) ( Fixed term contracts for twelve months)

17.5hrs( part time) - 35hrs( full time) posts available. 

We are seeking applications from motivated and enthusiastic individuals who can be effective in supporting service users with a learning disability, living in residential settings with all aspects of their care.

You will work with service users to ensure they are achieving their full potential within a framework of choice, inclusion and independence. You will need to have good observational, listening, planning, communication, recording skills and experience with this client group is preferred but not essential.

You will be expected to complete the 15 Care Certificate standards within 13 weeks as part of your probationary period.

These roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS check
