Cambridgeshire County Council are looking for an Engineer to join our Highway Projects team to lead the delivery of a wide range of highway improvements and maintenance projects across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. You will be joining a team of talented professionals working across a wide variety of small to medium-sized projects to improve the lives of Cambridgeshire’s residents and road users.

As a key member of the Projects Team you will have experience of the development, planning, design and implementation of transport infrastructure with strong project management and communication skills. You will also be expected to engage with key partners so extensive knowledge of technical and contractual requirements is also a key aspect for this role. 

The Highways service operates from a number of bases across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with a central base in Huntingdon. We are flexible about work location, but the ability to travel to different locations is essential.
