In order to assist us in this important role we are seeking an experienced Climbing Arborist who has NPTC / LANTRA qualifications in chainsaw use and climbing operation units for an 18 month fixed term contract. You must also be experienced in all aspects of arboricultural work and have a good knowledge of the identification of tree species.

Your duties will include the assisting with the removal of Oak Processionary Moth nests and the maintenance and making safe of all trees anywhere in the Borough using the relevant tools and equipment and ensuring the safety of the public and work colleagues at all times.

Participation in the 24 hour emergency call-out rota may be required each month for one week; a payment of £63.42 will be paid for this period.

A full UK driving licence is required and an HGV licence an advantage.
