This is an exciting opportunity to join Telford & Wrekin Council’s Traffic Management Team to provide technical advice and support within the Highways, Transport & Engineering Service area.

Telford a new town has its roots in the 1960s but this doesn’t mean we’re stuck in the past. Over the last 50 years the town has grown and developed into a hub of innovation and investment.

Telford & Wrekin Council is ambitious, always looking to develop, improve and attract investment. The Council has recently delivered a number of exciting projects including £12m Telford Town Centre Connectivity Package, a £4.5m highways capital programme and £2m Pride in Your Community investment programme. Over the next three years the Council is embarking on a further significant investment programme, will you be part of it?

The post holder will undertake technical work related to street works management to ensure that the Council fulfils its duties under legislation such as the Traffic Management Act (TMA) and New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA).
