Job Details

Royal Greenwich is proud to be a borough synonymous with first class modern services. Our communities remain vibrant and diverse and our elected members are ambitious to realise the potential of the borough whilst responding to our financial challenges and the growing needs of our population.

We remain completely focused on ensuring that we meet the needs of our communities and securing the very best outcomes for them remains a top priority.

We have high expectations of our workforce and our integrated services have been recognised as a model of good practice with integrated teams across hospital and intermediate care, learning disabilities and mental health.

We also enjoy excellent relationships with our partners and work closely with Acute and Primary Care colleagues as well as voluntary sector partners and organisations including Charlton Athletic around social prescribing.

The upcoming retirement of our current DASS means we are seeking a new Director who is keen to innovate and remodel our approach to practice - to ensure we use the adult social care budget for those that need it most.

To be successful, you will need to have a strong strategic grasp, a commitment to innovation, financial dexterity and a track record of delivering outcomes that have made a genuine difference.

For a confidential conversation, contact Penny Ransley or Jo Boardman at at GatenbySanderson on 020 7426 3962 or click the 'apply' button for more information.
