Senior Parking Manager
Salary range: £54,549 - £57,627 p.a. inc.
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

As Senior Parking Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of the Council’s Parking Services contract, and our in-house PCN appeals and debt recovery team. In this high profile role you will lead on ensuring that we deliver excellent services to motorists and residents, that enforcement is effective and fair, and that our statutory PCN appeals processes are working justly, efficiently and within recommended statutory timeframes. You will be supported by a strong award-winning team of parking professionals.
Reporting directly to the Head of Parking and Lighting, the successful candidate will be an experienced parking professional. With excellent contract, people, budget and stakeholder management skills, you will bring a strong track of service delivery and improvement.
An experienced parking professional with excellent contract management, people and stakeholder management skills. You will have excellent analytical skills, experience of managing budgets, improving services and managing a team, and comfortable communicating with a wide range of senior stakeholders. A sound knowledge of the statutory legal framework for civil enforcement of parking and traffic offences, the statutory parking appeals process, local authority parking and traffic management policies, and developments within the parking sector are essential.
