We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic engineer to join our well-regarded civil engineering design and implementation team.
Mainly working for a variety of public sector clients across Hampshire, we carry out highway and sustainable transport schemes such as junction upgrades, walking and cycling improvement projects. We cover all stages from identification through feasibility, design and implementation, with all the public consultation and stakeholder liaison those stages entail. We play an active role in contributing to council policy with regard to highways, walking, cycling and public transport, and we design many of the Council’s own engineering schemes.
You will have specific projects to work on and will manage those projects throughout their design and implementation life cycle. You will issue tenders for building your schemes and will supervise works on site.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, you will be a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Institution of Highway Technicians or equivalent (or working towards membership in the near future) and with a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in civil engineering. Training will be given to help you to fulfill your role, including streetworks accreditation and on the various IT systems in use.
Closing date is the 19th February 2019 at 17:00pm.
