Job description

The responsibilities for the Highways Analyst  include  providing  technical Support to the Highways teams and contribute towards the provision of an efficient and effective business.  To respond quickly and efficiently to the regulation needs of City of York Council, Highways department in terms of the asset management of the public highways. Extracting data from surveys creating  reports  and developing  Key Performance Indicators. Providing assistance and guidance on development   planning and compliance issues across the department. Respond and action complaints and enquiries from the general public, councillors and others within set time limits. Compile accident information and reports, including  witness information, produce accident reports, obtain information from the DVLA and Police.
