We are looking for Project Engineers to join our Highways and Transportation service based across North Yorkshire.

The core focus of the job is to provide engineering support to the Area Manager/Improvement Manager/Maintenance Manager in managing, maintaining and improving the highway network in the area. You will be involved the implementation of highway improvement and maintenance schemes, routine highway maintenance activities, delivery of the winter maintenance service, local network management and liaison with the public at a local level. You will also be involved with local highways development control, traffic management and the enforcement of highways legislation.

To be successful you must have or be working towards an HNC/HND in an appropriate technical discipline or similar appropriate qualification, and knowledge of legislation, techniques and practices associated with highways is essential.
