We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to be a key member of our Highways Team. The purpose of the role will be to work with the other members of the team and partners to make the City’s highways safe for resident’s communities and visitors to the city. This is a high profile role which will be fundamental to the positive transformation of our city. This position offers you the opportunity to be creative when enhancing these areas and to work alongside a team of proactive and dynamic partners.
In order to fulfil the requirements of the role, you will have knowledge and experience of Highways Safety Inspections, Streetworks and the Highways Act 1980. Experience of using ICT applications, either socially or professionally is essential. Together with a full driving licence.
The successful candidate should also have strong communication skills with the ability to address a wide and varied customer and partner audience. In the role you will act as ambassador for LCC which means that promoting a positive image is essential, as is showing a genuine interest in enhancing the city.
